Guide to Installing Joomla on Windows

First, prepare first and joomlanya xampp. Xampp for apache and mysql service providers, whereas Joomla as it is used as website creation, etc..

As I here use the version of xampp-win32-1.5.5 and joomla his Joomla_1.0.15 version.

1. The first step dalah install xampp package

2. Once the package is installed extract xampp joomla package into the htdocs folder

C: \ Program Files \ xampp \ htdocs

for example we give the folder name joomla, the result will be as follows:

3. Go browse your favorite type "http://localhost/Joomla/" (without the quotes). So the result as follows:

click next

4. Then, license dialog will appear, click next.

5. Step 1

enter the host name: localhost
username: root
pass: leave blank (if using a password input passwornya)
database name: it's up to you

click next.

6. Step 2

fill in the name of the site ex: my site.

click next

7. Step 3

fill in your email, and change its password, others leave it in the default state. Then click next

8 If you have entered into step 4 then the installation process is complete. Please click view administation.

Upss, Do not forget to delete the instalation folder in the joomla folder. Then reload again 

9. Lastly Please login using the username and password you have entered earlier.
